2027: Governor Yusuf Rallies Kano Support for President Tinubu, Cites Development Gains

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has called on residents of the state to sustain their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing that the President's commitment to infrastructure development and national progress merits continued backing ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The governor made the appeal during a ceremony at the Government House in Kano, where he presented a Certificate of Return to the newly elected member of the House of Representatives for Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency, Hon. Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo, popularly known as Abba Gano.
Speaking at the event, Governor Yusuf stated that the people of Kano have strong reasons to support President Tinubu, noting that the relationship between the Kano State Government and the Federal Government has produced tangible benefits for the state.
According to the governor, ongoing collaboration with the Federal Government has facilitated critical infrastructure projects and other developmental initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of citizens and strengthening economic growth across Kano State.
Governor Yusuf commended President Tinubu for his support of key development programmes in Kano, describing him as a leader dedicated to promoting national unity, inclusive governance, and sustainable progress.
He further urged political leaders, stakeholders, and supporters across the state to remain united and continue fostering a productive partnership between Kano State and the Federal Government in the interest of development and stability.
The governor also congratulated Hon. Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo on his electoral victory, expressing confidence that the lawmaker would provide quality representation and effectively advance the interests of the people of Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to collaboration, Governor Yusuf pledged continued cooperation with the Federal Government in implementing policies and programmes designed to enhance the living standards of Nigerians and accelerate socio-economic development.
