Federal High Court Sacks Anambra APC Chairman, Sen. Emmanuel Anosike
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has sacked the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, Sen. Emmanuel Anosike, along with the State Secretary, Sir Obiora Okpala, the State Treasurer, State Legal Adviser, and other members of the state executive.
In a landmark judgment delivered on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the court affirmed Chief Ifeanyi Osegbo as the duly elected and substantive Chairman of the APC in Anambra State.
The court also recognized Engr. Chukwudi Kenneth Oji as the substantive State Secretary and Elochukwu Okonkwo as the substantive Assistant Secretary, with immediate effect.
The ruling effectively reshapes the leadership structure of the APC in Anambra State and is expected to have significant political implications within the party.
