Cristiano Ronaldo, Georgina Rodríguez Tie the Knot in Private Portugal Ceremony
ISSN: 2354-4481
Cascais, Portugal — Cristiano Ronaldo and his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, have officially married in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, after nearly a decade together.
The wedding was attended by close family members and the couple’s five children, with the pair opting for an intimate ceremony rather than a large celebrity celebration.
The marriage took place on August 11, exactly one year after Rodríguez publicly announced their engagement on August 11, 2025.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez confirmed the wedding on social media by sharing a photograph of their wedding rings with their followers alongside a brief caption.
The announcement came days after speculation surrounding a reported wedding-related event in Madeira, which was later dismissed as a false alarm.
Ronaldo, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, began their relationship about a decade ago after meeting at a luxury retail store in Madrid.
Since then, the couple have built a family together while navigating Ronaldo’s football career and international fame. Their relationship has also included periods of personal loss and major career moves across different countries.
The private ceremony now marks a new chapter for the couple, who have largely kept major family milestones away from the spotlight.
