Oborevwori Commissions Zenith Bank Branch in Osubi, Hails Investment in Delta Economy

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, on Wednesday commissioned a new Zenith Bank branch in Osubi, Okpe Local Government Area, a development aimed at bringing banking services closer to residents and businesses in the area.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, Governor Oborevwori commended Zenith Bank for fulfilling its commitment to establish a branch in Osubi. He described the project as a strong vote of confidence in Delta State's economy and investment climate.
The governor noted that the bank's decision to expand its presence in the state reflects ongoing efforts by his administration to improve security, infrastructure, and the ease of doing business. He reaffirmed his government's commitment to creating partnerships that promote economic growth, investment, and opportunities for the people of Delta State.
Oborevwori further stated that the new branch would enhance financial services in the area, support local businesses, and contribute to the overall economic development of Okpe Local Government Area and the state at large.
In her remarks, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, Dame Dr. Adora Omoji, praised the governor for his support for private sector investments, particularly the donation of land for the construction of the branch.
She said the establishment of the Osubi branch demonstrates increasing investor confidence in Delta State's development trajectory and economic prospects. According to her, Zenith Bank remains committed to advancing financial inclusion and supporting economic growth through accessible banking services.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by government officials, community leaders, business stakeholders, and representatives of Zenith Bank, who lauded the collaboration between the state government and the private sector in fostering development.
