OPM General-Overseer Present as Eze Francis Buried Mother

AMANATO OKPORO, ORLU LGA, IMO STATE — The General-Overseer and Founder of Omega Power Ministry (OPM), His Royal Majesty, King Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, attended the burial ceremony of the mother of His Imperial Majesty, HRH Eze Dr. Francis Chukwuemeka, traditional ruler of Amanato Okporo Autonomous Community, Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State.
The deceased, Late Lolo Florence Akumbata Ujagba, née Ubah, was laid to rest in Amanato Okporo on Friday, August 21, 2026, in a ceremony attended by prominent traditional rulers, businessmen, political leaders, clergymen, community leaders and members of various social organisations.
The OPM General-Overseer was represented at the funeral by Elder Amb. Dr. Malachi Ndubuisi Ebepu, JP, President-General of the OPM Men Fellowship Worldwide, alongside other church leaders.
Speaking during the ceremony, Ebepu conveyed the condolences of Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere and the entire OPM family to the bereaved family.
“I am here today on behalf of His Royal Majesty, King Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, the Founder and General-Overseer of OPM, to condole with the Udemba family as they bury their wife and mother today,” he said.
He described the large turnout at the funeral as an indication of the impact the deceased and her family had made in society.
According to him, the presence of people from different parts of the country and beyond demonstrated that the deceased lived a meaningful life and raised children who had contributed positively to society.
Ebepu also praised Eze Dr. Francis Chukwuemeka, whom he described as a pillar of OPM, particularly for his contribution to the growth of the ministry.
He noted that Eze Francis, who serves as Chairman of the OPM Asaba Regional Headquarters, played a significant role in establishing and developing the OPM branch in Asaba.
“A very good number of OPM members are here, including the Asaba Branch Pastor, Pastor Ifeanyi Nwankwo,” Ebepu added.
He urged the family, particularly the chief mourner, Eze Francis Chukwuemeka, and other relatives to take solace in the life their mother lived and the Christian hope of eternal life.
“We want to encourage the family and the chief mourner, Eze Francis Chukwuemeka, and other members of the family to take solace in the fact that the late mother lived a good life,” he said.
He further encouraged the family to remain strong in their faith, stressing that Christians look forward to eternal rest with God after death.
The funeral attracted several notable personalities from Imo State and other parts of the Southeast.
Among those present were HRH Eze Dr. Emmanuel Okeke, Eze Udo II of Amaifeke Ancient Kingdom and Chairman of the Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers; businessman and philanthropist, Prince Arthur I. Eze, OFR, CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum; Chief Sir Tony Chukwu, MFR, CEO of Roudo Engineering; Eze Udo Ichida of Aguata, Anambra State; and other traditional rulers and community leaders.
Also in attendance were Imo State APC Chairman, Hon. Chief Austin Onyedebelu, former Managing Director of ISOPADEC; Hon. Chief Mayor Eze, NDC candidate for Imo West; and Hon. Chief Okey Okafor, popularly known as Ihediche, NDC candidate for the Orlu/Oru East/Orsu Federal Constituency in the 2027 election.
Other dignitaries included Ichie Monday Akunna, (Okwa Achinaka), Chairman of the Eminent Senators Club of Nigeria Worldwide; Ranking Senator Eze Akuchukwu of Iheoma; gospel singers, Evangelist Felix Ndukwe; and Sister Chinyere Udoma, (popularly known as Ududu Woman).
The gathering brought together political, religious, traditional and business leaders, underscoring the wide network of relationships surrounding the bereaved family and the late Lolo Florence Akumbata Ujagba.
