President Tinubu Receives Ekiti Governor-Elect Biodun Oyebanji at State House

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received Ekiti State Governor-elect Biodun Oyebanji at the State House, Abuja, following his victory in the recently concluded governorship election in the state.
During the visit, Oyebanji formally presented his Certificate of Return to the President, marking another significant step in the transition process ahead of his inauguration.
The governor-elect was accompanied by Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, who served as the Chairman of the Oyebanji Campaign Council during the governorship election.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the President to congratulate the governor-elect on his electoral success and reaffirm the commitment of the Federal Government to working with subnational governments in advancing development and good governance across the country.
Oyebanji emerged victorious in the Ekiti State governorship election held a few weeks ago, securing a fresh mandate to lead the state for another term.
