‎Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived at the Kuje–Gwagwalada Road for the commissioning of the 7-kilometre Gwagwalada Dual Carriageway (Phase I), a major infrastructure project executed by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

‎The road project represents another milestone in the ongoing transformation of the Federal Capital Territory under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. It is aimed at improving connectivity, easing traffic movement, and supporting economic activities within the territory.

‎The commissioning forms part of a series of strategic infrastructure projects being unveiled across Abuja to mark President Tinubu’s third anniversary in office and the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Federal Capital Territory.

‎Upon his arrival at the venue, Vice President Shettima was received by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, alongside the Minister of State for the FCT, Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure.

‎Also present were senior officials of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, government functionaries, traditional leaders, and other key stakeholders who gathered for the event.

‎The commissioning underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to expanding critical infrastructure, enhancing urban development, and improving the quality of life for residents of the nation’s capital.
